At Max & Margaux, customer happiness is incredibly important to us. As a small business owner, I personally design, source, photograph, package, and ship many of the items you see in our shop. I take great pride in offering the kind of thoughtful, responsive customer service you'd expect from a luxury retailer, and I genuinely want you to love your purchase.
Our Commitment to Accurate Listings
Every product is carefully photographed and described with accuracy in mind. It is extremely important to me that the colors, textures, materials, and details you see online closely reflect the item you receive. I spend significant time photographing products in natural lighting and editing images to represent them as truthfully as possible.
That said, colors may appear slightly different depending on your screen, monitor, or device settings. Minor variations that occur due to individual display settings are not considered defects.
Returns & Exchanges
If your item arrives with a manufacturing flaw, damage, or differs materially from the description or photos provided on our website, please contact us within 15 days of delivery.
Eligible situations may include:
- An item that arrives damaged
- A manufacturing defect
- Receiving the wrong item
- A significant discrepancy between the product received and the product description
If approved, we will gladly offer:
- An exchange
- Store credit
- A refund, when appropriate
To begin a return or exchange request, please email us with your order number and photos of the issue so we can review it promptly.
Non-Returnable Items
Because many of our products are handmade, limited-run, personalized, or produced in small batches, we cannot accept returns based on:
- Change of mind
- Buyer preference
- Slight color variations due to monitor settings
- Normal handmade variations that do not affect functionality or quality
- General wear and tear after use

I believe great customer service never goes out of style. While I cannot accommodate every return request, I will always do my best to treat customers fairly, communicate openly, and find reasonable solutions when issues arise.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
